I was happy to find a stealth camping spot tucked in a very full Miami casino lot. Rumor says to “camp” there you had to register and pay $25. After just paying $13 for a shower I was feeling cheap.
To add to my stealthiness I did not put in my insulated window screens. Instead i hung Larry’s military camo wooby blanket on the closeline behind my seats. That way, any security looking in would just see two empty seats and not the camoflauged body sleeping in the back.
I was awakened early by music and a loud megaphone. When i peaked outside i found out that not only was I the only car in a section of the lot-standing out like a sore thumb…there was a bike race going on and i was on the wrong side of the barriers by the finish line!
I high tailed it out of there and headed south to the keys.
