I woke at 4am to watch Space X Falcon 9 rocket launch from Kennedy Space Center about 160 miles northeast. I have always wanted to see a launch at the site. But it was still a neat experience to watch the orange fireball. And now that the first rocket stage returns and lands you get to see a second glow. This rocket has supplies and will link up with the International Space Station.

Then it was a beach day for me. I’m not one to just sit and bake on the beach. So i did alot of swimming and she’ll collecting. Yes dear, I WILL do something with them eventually. It’s like treasure hunting.

I stayed for sunset which is weird for me because on the Eastcoast the sun rises over the ocean.

As a bonus to a great day, there was a second space X launch from Kennedy at 815 pm. It would have been a great day to drive the 3 hours east to Kennedy. I could have my bucket list item completed twice!
