After a lovely campfire filled evening in our hipcamp site in Michigan we stopped at Indiana dunes to finish my junior ranger badge.
We took a hike to some historic farms in the park and got to see a flying thing in the woods. At first we thought it was a large black bug. It was flying in a weird back and forth arch like it was swinging. It stopped on a branch and it was then that we saw it was a very very small ruby throated hummingbird.
Back in the car for a 6 hour drive to Minnesota to meet Cory and Dags at the Bluffs Campground
Arrival at Great River Bluffs State Park at 7:30pm and we were treated to a great dinner cooked by Cory & Dags followed by a campfire.

After 7 days of driving and avoiding tornados we get to stay in one spot for 5 days!
