Saturday May 24.

It was a super long drive day as we drove over 9 hours east through Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.

Along the way were some interesting sites including a giant snowman in Portersville, Butler County

and a lion public drinking fountain in Ellwood City

We camped at Bear Run Campground in Portersville, Pa.

Where it was nice to make some mountain pies on the campfire. I used gluten free almond tortillas and filled them with apples, cinnamon, pecans, raisins and honey. They came out great and tasted like pop tarts.
