Super windy day but I paddled my Stand up paddleboard in the mangroves. And had a leftover horchatta ice cream for lunch.

Back in the van for a dreaded 4.5 hour drive on I-75. Florida drivers are crazy. They are either hanging out in the passing lane or screaming up the slow lane to pass at 100 m.p.h.

I made it to Fort Desoto. My camp for two nights.

My campsite was waterfront and had a great breeze.

I have fond memories of going to the beach there with my grandparents when I was a teenager. She taught me how to find sand dollars.

The beach was packed with people having Easter picnics and smelled great. It was only a short bike ride on a bike path from the campground to the beach.

The sand at the beach is amazingly soft-like powder. I love this shell tree.
