Tuesday June 10.
It was a cold rainy day so I found a campground nearby that had showers and laundry. All of us needed washing. The van was getting stinky.
I was prepared by bringing a handful of Steve’s quarters from his poker stash only to discover the shower and washers took dollar coins!
Once clean I could go find a place to eat. Not much to choose from so I went to Musquito Brewery. It was busy and took a long time for my food but was dry.
I had picked up a brochure that had kid activities so I started a van tour to check them out.
The first place has crazy tide that made it look like white water.
After that I found Big Jim
It was still raining when I returned to my site so I made a tarp using my kayak paddle.
