Friday June 6th.
I joined a national organization called American Daughters of Conservation (A.D.C.) It’s a women’s organization dedicated to wildlife conservation efforts and to expand their knowledge of the outdoor sporting world. Alot of the focus is hunting and fishing.
The chapters in the northeast held a camping trip and myself and five other gals from Pa, Mass and Maine had a campsite for the weekend in Acadia at Blackwoods Campground.

I unpacked my gear, moved my van to the overflow parking and was off to bike the 45 miles of carriage trails.
The trails were easy to bike to from the campground and I soon found an awesome riverstone bridge. It looked like a great place to climb as the underside was all stones too.

Well I kept getting lost and running into an area that said NO bikes so I hopped on the loop road trail. It was paved and mostly one way with two lanes and not alot of traffic.

I decided to ride up Cadillac Mountain. Cars now need a reservation but bikes do not.

It took me about an hour to ride the 3.5? Miles. I stopped alot to enjoy the views. And even though I was on an ebike I was hot and sweaty and in need of ice cream. I almost died when told my total was $12! For an ice cream bar!

I highly recommend biking acadia. There were great views and it was easy to pull off.
I returned to the campsite to meet the othere 5 gals who where arriving for the weekend.
The rain was coming so we tarped the picnic table.

We were only allowed to have two tents for the six of us so I got to sleep with two other gals.
