Tuesday May 20th.

We woke up to rain and wind so we stayed in the warm comfy van and had breakfast.

We had accumulated quite a bit of laundry with our week of driving so we headed into LaCross, Wisconsin to a laundromat. There we were greeted by a very friendly older couple who owned the laundromat. They were cleaning the already spotless place.

While waiting for the laundry we went across the street to a strip mall. I ordered some Chinese food and Steve went to a pizza place.

We met back at the van as it was still rainy. Steve announces, “Do you know they sell raw pizza in Wisconsin?”

He went to a Take and Bake…where yes, they dont have an oven and sell raw pizza. So we laughed while he ate off some of the toppings and I shared the most bland Chinese food I have ever eaten.

Now with warm, dry and un-stinky laundry we met our friends in town at a Duluth Trading store. What a fun place. I have heard good things about their underwear being comfy and boy they had alot of choice of styles and prints.

After shopping, we hit the local theater with $2 tickets to see “Death of a Unicorn” a horror/dark comedy. We both actually enjoyed it despite some really gross scenes.

Back to the van for the night.
