Heading out from our campsite at Buck Creek in Springfield, Ohio we received news that our destination of Land Between the Lakes near Paduca, Kentucky was under severe storm threat.
We spent the day in Cincinnati trying to find a place we could spend the night with the van under cover. Turns out all the parking garages did not have high enough clearance for a 10′ van.
We took a break and stopped at William Taft’s house so I could get a junior ranger badge.
We finally decided to get a hotel and stayed in Louisville, Kentucky.
