I have been blessed with awesome weather, Today I decided to be a rest day..haha.
I took my time getting some laundry done and hanging at the pool next to the laundromat. They had an area with brochures of activities in the area. I found a kayak company who guides mangrove trips and they were about a mile away. I gave them a call and asked if I brought my own boat, how much for a two hour tour. For $30 I got a guide and 7 other boats. The guide talked about everything from why the keys dont have natural beaches to Cassiopea jellyfish. It was a nice paddle until the heavy winds they were predicting hit us on the paddle back. Of course it was a head wind.
h and my chamois towel blew into the water and I hid to go diving for it. So glad its bright orange.
Back at the campground I took a poolside nap and had ice cream for dinner.
Tonight is the start of the Lyrid meteor shower.
