Camping doesnt get much better than this-waterfront. There is no shade but a great breeze off the water and no bugs. So I sleep with the back doors open.
My favorite Florida State Park-Bahai Honda is about 40 minutes away by car. I arrived at 9am and tried to get on the snorkel boat but it was full. So I got put on stand-by for the 1:30 trip.
The beach and the water had a LOT of seaweed but I waded through to snorkel. I wasnt able to see much. Last time I was there I saw giant conch shells and starfish. Oh well.
I did find some dead lobster.

I noticed some kids looking at something in the water by a moored boat. Turns out it was a manatee. It had its mouth open-kinda freeky, and was drinking fresh water that was dripping from the hose.

Time for the snorkel boat.

I saw alot of fish in the hour I spent in the water but nothing crazy. We did see turtles from the boat which lost an engine on the way back.

Back to camp for a well deserved hammock time.
